Little Gate Farm

After our supplying Little Gate Farm at the end of last year, we’ve since gone on to donate the following batch of shingle, to help them finish creating new paths around the gardens and combat the mud! We spoke with Hannah, who manages the gardens and cut flower social enterprise side of the charity, about how the Gardenscape shingle will make a difference.
Little Gate Farm, East Sussex, is a registered charity that helps people with learning disabilities and autism into paid work, through skills training, work experience, and Supported Employment. Located just 10 minutes drive from our head office and yard in Newenden, we’re always pleased to be able to help local charities in any way we can.
“The home of the charity is at Little Gate Farm; 46 acres of pasture and ancient woodland in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Owned since the 1960s by the Cordell family, they have now turned their attention from sheep farming to the Little Gate charity. However, plenty of farm animals, as well as the local wildlife, still call Little Gate their home.”

We look forward to returning again to see the progress.
